Primary Responsibilities

1.Prepare unfinished interior drywall panels for painting by taping and finishing joints and imperfections

2.Apply drywall compound, nail/screw indentations on the surface of panels

3.Remove extra compound after surfaces have been covered sufficiently

4.Press paper tape over joints to embed tape into sealing compound and to seal joints

5.Spread sealing compound between boards or panels or over cracks, holes, nail heads, or screw heads, using trowels, broad knives, or spatulas

6.Seal joints between plasterboard or other wallboard to prepare wall surfaces for painting or papering

Qualifications

2.Industrial construction/maintenance industry experience preferred

3.Must have experience in commercial jobs
